Death of a frog

The subdivision where we live is called Oceanpointe and it is only about .5 miles away from the beach. They are still developing part of the subdivision in what used to be a bit of "wilderness" between us and the beach. Because of this we see lots of frogs that are getting pushed out of their homes. We have had them in our yard and one nearly scared me to death in the garage. They are fairly large. Probably the size of Dave's fist. Anyway, since there are so many they are constantly getting ran over in our back alley. A couple of days ago there was a really sad site. There was a bloated up dead frog whose "friend" kept hoping over to it and crying. Whenever someone would come it would hop away, but then go right back by it's friend and cry some more. It is now dead too. A few days from now they will look like the picture of the flat dead frog. You see flattened, dried out frog all over the road here.

That is the saddest thing I have ever heard! You should start a save the frogs campaign.

That is SO sad. I love frogs. Reminds me of the frog in Tuck Everlasting, though.

No save the frogs campaign here! I read an article in the paper about how frogs are taking over the island and it had suggestions on how to "get rid of them"!

One suggestion might be FROG STEW.

Sounds tasty to me
