Swim Lessons

This past spring London and Teancum took swim lessons for the first time. They are the only kids I know that don't know how to swim at their age. The community offers free swim lessons here, you just have to sign up quick before the classes fill up.

London took to the lessons a little better than Tank. We thought that it was a major accomplishment to finally get him to put his face in the water. Of course, true to form, Tank was a lady's man and had both of his 20 year-old instructors in love with him. They thought he was the cutest (and sweetest) little boy they had ever seen.

At the end of the class they hand out the a little card that certifies the kids to take the next level class. Ours, of course, had written on them "REPEAT" since the kids aren't even close to swimming yet. We are going to try again, but this time they are going to take swim lessons at the YMCA that will unfortunately cost us a pretty penny!
